Extreme Party NJ, founded by an engineer, specializes in mobile attractions like our popular mobile zipline, under the banner of “Extreme Engineering.” Driven by a mission to promote education, we are excited to launch our “All Aboard for Reading!” program. This initiative combines our interactive experiences with a commitment to engaging families and promoting literacy, bringing local libraries to life in a fun and memorable way.

“All Aboard for Reading!” is a dynamic and engaging program designed to attract families and community members to their local libraries. Using a fun and colorful trackless train, this initiative blends the excitement of a train ride with the promotion of library services, reading programs, and community engagement. It aims to foster a love for education and reading in a memorable and interactive way.

 Program Details

How It Works

1. Train Rides as the Main Attraction

• The trackless train is set up in the library parking lot or nearby outdoor space, offering free or nominally priced rides for attendees.

• The train will be decorated with library-themed signage and promotional materials such as “Next Stop: The World of Books!”

2. Themed Events

• Storytime on the Train: Librarians can read to children during short stops along the train’s route, creating a fun, interactive reading experience.

• “Ticket to Read” Challenge: Guests earn a free train ride by signing up for a library card, checking out a book, or participating in a reading program.

• Book Fair on the Platform: A pop-up book fair, where families can browse and purchase books after their ride.

3. Creative and Engaging Activities

• Artist Biography Scavenger Hunt: A fun and educational scavenger hunt where participants search for clues related to famous artists’ biographies, integrating creativity and learning.

 

• Spin Art Station: Kids can create their own colorful masterpieces using the spin art station, encouraging artistic expression.

 

• Tie-Dye Station: Participants can create their own tie-dye creations, allowing kids to explore their creativity in a hands-on, colorful activity.

  • Picture Backdrop with Props: A library-themed photo backdrop, complete with props, where families can take fun photos and create lasting memories.

4. Community Engagement

• Additional activities around the train rides include face painting, arts and crafts, or meet-and-greets with local authors.

• Partnering with local vendors, we can offer snacks and beverages to create a mini-community festival atmosphere.

5. Promotional Opportunity for Libraries

• Libraries can use the event to showcase services such as summer reading programs, free educational classes, and other available resources.

• Collect sign-ups for newsletters, providing a way to keep attendees engaged with the library long after the event.
